Our aircraft are essentially flying ICUs. We carry a supply of oxygen that accounts for any possible delay, a full array of medicines, and vacuum pumps.
In addition to the medical equipment available on the aircraft, duplicate life support equipment is carried on ground transports to and from the hospitals and as backup equipment on the aircraft during the flight. In the case of emergency we are prepared with diversion plans and procedures to accommodate all patient care needs in the event of unplanned lengthy delays.
